I would of agreed with your statement back when FOs were hired with 250 TT. However, in today's environment it takes 2-3 years just to obtain the ATP minimums... 2-3 years of entry level position pay and then 2-3 more years at the regionals with compensation of entry level, that's .... If a job requires ATP license, it is no longer entry position job and the compensation should be as such!

I am not even speaking about the costs associated with obtaining all the licenses as compared to becoming a police officer or a teacher.
