Absolutely. Glad to see you guys get pushed up, but i'm preparing for the cold stares once you realize I may hang out on the airplane for a while longer.

Yup, and a few of us warned them on this board. At least they have the 17% pay differential to help with the taxes!

The ANC bid packets are ridiculous, though. 45 lines in a typical month, and only a handful are 17-day patterns. Some 60-day lines have 5 trips, some 30-day lines have 3. That's just crazy. I'm all about giving the guys who live in ANC choices, but they need to recognize how painful that commute can be WRT burning days off for those who commute. If half the base commutes, make half the lines 17-day patterns. Not much sympathy from the ExCo, either. (Here come the STN jumpseating stories - and yes, that really sucked and I'm glad that got fixed - but if they want to help curb attrition, that's an easy zero-cost place to start)
