Many items in a contract would not be wanted by the majority if put to a vote on a item by item basis.
This is precisely why I believe that the survey is a bad thing in the long run. The way I will be proven wrong on this is if there is a huge turnout on them... like say 85% or more. If not, it will be statistically detrimental to use it as THE basis for negotiations because it will be the vocal minority that will set the tone.
A scientific poll will be much more accurate.
That being said, I will still finish the poll
