All of the worries about meddling with posted minimums (requiring jet time, etc.) that many were screaming about have not come true.

They have also honored PSA's fleet commitment to a T. And so far, they seem to be keeping good to their threat of Eagle's fate.

I say again, I am not happy with the situation, but the lies and hyperbole are flying wild. Time will tell how well Piedmont's contract is honored, but the record shows that, thus far, the current management team has honored their commitments. This is not the same American that negotiated Eagle's flowthrough, so that comparison is absolutely worthless.
Pretty sure this happened:

"Staffing Shortage Update
PSA management has recently taken a number of actions in an attempt to mitigate the pilot staffing shortage. First, management denied or canceled all Association leave for January, February, and March. Second, this weekend, management decided to hold four pilots at PSA indefinitely rather than allow them to begin a class at US Airways in March."

Flow through agreements will be violated as necessary to maintain staffing levels at regionals with training bubbles and new aircraft coming online. Expect to see much more of this in the future. They will never let those planes park due to staffing. That's bad business.
