I certainly do not. I operate a part 91 flight department having left the airlines. I found that I have pricing power in 91 ops. I can actually negotiate my wage and benefits based on worth, value, professionalism, and execution...not fear. Don't like my wage? Network like crazy, get new skills and ratings, and find a new boss.

I never understand why the "me and my family" crowd join a unionized industry/workforce. Airlines unions are about collective good. Part 91 is about "me and my family" since there is no collective bargaining...just good old fashioned negotiation. You want to fly for a ridiculous wage in 91 ops? Well, there are plenty of cheap operators with a perfect job for you. Want to command a decent wage? There are those ops out there too. But, joining a union industry and blabbing about "protecting me and mine"? Seems a little backwards don't you think?
