First, having any level of pride in what a regional pilot makes is a losing battle. Every single one needs to make improvements by leaps and bounds as it's turning into a career for many and pay doesn't match responsibility, accountability or what an F-28 paid a few decades ago for the same number of seats.
Second, consider me skeptical that what you've quoted is typical and consistent for a mid-level pilot. If I'm wrong, I'm surprised to say the least.
