I don't know, but those bids are open for all pilots on the list. Lots of CAL pilots could bid those, but they choose not to. Keep in mind that as many LUAL pilots bidding into EWR and IAH is probably close to the number of LCAL pilots based in ORD, DEN, IAD, LAX, SFO.
Less and less guys each bid will be moving into EWR. We had a big base there at one time, but many guys have moved to other bases and aren't going back. This is just the post-SLI adjustment, that appears to prolonged now that DEN is having bumps soon to be followed by guppy bumps in IAH.

Hard for some. Neutral for others. Good for others as well.
If it hadn't taken 3 years from the merger date to get the SLI done, we would probably be done with this and everyone would be where they want.
