They've never been an all Q airline. When they first got the Q they also operated CRJ-200s, BAe 146s and older Dashes. The CRJs and older Dashes were retired, then the BAe 146s were swapped out for E195s. They then ordered a ton of E175s but have only taken delivery of a handful and have now decided that it doesn't fit their business model to have more than one type. This will be the first time in their history that they've been a one type airline.
Well, thanks. During my tenure as an instructor at OAA, I had several students that ended up there and was told that they were an all Q airline.
Regardless, my point is that FlyBe is well versed and experienced in operating the Q.
