Alright. You want some number? Fine. Here ya go.

The average Eagle Captain is at approximately 10 years pay ($87/hr). The average Eagle F/O is at approximately 5 year pay ($40/hr). That's a total of $127 per hour.

The average PSA Captain is at approximately 7 year pay ($75/hr), while the average PSA F/O is currently on second year pay ($34/hr). That's a total of $109 per hour.

Additionally, (and perhaps more importantly to Dougie and the boys), PSA and/or PDT are going to have to grow tremendously in order to staff all of the additional aircraft. And as they add pilots, (more than double, in the case of PSA), their hourly crew costs will drop precipitously. Currently, PSA upgrades are at or near 2 years and will drop below 2 years by about year-end. A 2 year Captain and 1st year F/O at PSA costs AAG $88 per hour,..... combined!

These numbers may be off by 20% one way or the other. But anyone with an open mind should get the gist of it. And remember: don't shoot the messenger.
