Muskets and owning another human being existed during our formative years, yet we have seem to have let those go.
What irks me is people using tradition to push their personal religious beliefs on others who may, out of their innate freedom, choose not to subscribe to them. If you want or need a pulpit, find one elsewhere.
I have found, nearly without exception, people of faith to be very judgmental...when only God can judge.

Allah is fine, Islam is a sincere religion...unlike pastafarianism. What irks me about all this is people who have no religion using public policy mechanisms to belittle or destroy other people's religions. Leave it be, go find something else to do, it's not your problem.
