The board in our pilot lounge has a list of about 100+ folks between the May and April interviews in phase 2 still. If it helps you sleep a bit easier, it took me around 6-7 weeks from phase one to be officially in -- I was all mil background as well--apparently the quickest of background checks. I was practically on IOE when I was finally "in". There were guys from civ backgrounds that hadn't had the official word until later. I think we're dealing with such a large volume of folks in the pipeline it just takes a while. Some companies drag their feet on the PRIA stuff too apparently. They have 30 days by law and some wait the full time to respond. If there are multiple carriers in your background it can get compounded. I wouldn't be afraid to call our pilot hiring folks and ask.
