One more point here. Keep in mind that these L-UAL pilots you come across that remain clueless on PBS have nobody to blame but themselves. For 6 months, ALPA PBS SME kiosks were available in flight ops along with phone support that was available 7 days a week during that time. Sure, it stinks to have to learn a new PBS system, but sometimes you just have to bite the bullet when the stakes are high (I think your monthly schedule falls under this). Those that chose not to find time to take advantage of the help provided made their own bed. Ask the CAL pilots how much support they had when the Jepp PBS system got dropped on them. ALPA convinced the Company to spend money and provide resources this time around instead of just providing a flimsy manual, and still some chose to ignore the assistance. Oh well.
