Contracts under the Railway Labor act don't actually expire, they become amendable. HALs is amendable in 2015, with early opener negotiations to start early in the year.
Amazing how the RLA works so well in favor of the company, isn't it?
This is why we'll likely have to take it all the way with the NMB before we get what we deserve.
