Yea, there's a disconnect alright. The AFA didn't tell them if they voted the contract down they would be in no mans land. The AFA didn't threaten to quit and leave them to the will of the company. The AFA didn't tell them the company will NEVER go public. The AFA didn't tell the 'we got em over a barrel' when in reality the contract language was weak and wouldn't hold up to arbitration.
I applaud the AFA for not threatening to walk out on the FAs and happily went back to the table. A true sign of professionalism.
Yeap. I really hate to say it. But I heard ALL that Orbit cited, personally with my own ears, directly from our former MEC leaders/negotiators. I was there. As it is written: "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."
