Thanks gents, good stuff. Had a mix of timing fortune and misfortune during the career, and I understand the role fate plays.

Yeah... counting my blessings there. If that ROE doesn't change, I would potentially be in good shape (last four is in mid 9000s).

Wow. Would have never have guessed that was possible. Hopefully he's happy with that!

Out of curiosity, how much time as a new hire do you have to make your choice once the drop occurs? Because each aircraft/base pairing has its own pros & cons WRT QOL, upgrade potential, etc., I imagine no one wants to make a snap decision. LOTS to consider. Of course, low man has the easiest choice...
