Because each aircraft/base pairing has its own pros & cons WRT QOL, upgrade potential, etc., I imagine no one wants to make a snap decision. LOTS to consider. I'm sure it's not a whole lot different now (aside from if you are in a Compass holdback class) but they gave us an hour or so from the time they let us know what was available.
You'll need to have your wish list in mind before you show up having already weighed the pros and cons.
