No. 6 hours behind the door? No. I can't imagine guys who liked that. It's a safety thing. Are they gonna build in van time, eating, ironing, falling asleep?

Again, I ask. How does this square with the FAA's reg for 8 hours of sleep? I'm assuming because it fits into the definition of a duty day. I, for one, am much more fatigued after a "sit" then I am flying multiple legs with minimum turn. It's a switch on, switch off for me. YMMV.
