There's no pleasing everyone. One man's trash is another's treasure, like our old Lagos trip on the 777. There was no way in hell I was going to go there (and this was well before the Ebola outbreak), but some guys loved it.
Once it became a known yellow fever/malaria destination, well, then Screw Sceds couldn't assign it to a reserve, it had to be white or green slipped. MED trips like that should ALWAYS pay double!
But, the same restrictions could be put on CDO's, i.e. they must be white/green slipped or bid in the original bid run.
Still, as Buzz points out, you are condoning something the FAA and ALPA is supposed to be against rest wise. (less than 9hrs. behind the door)
