You really hope our MEC understands making concessions is no longer necessary. None of the concessions we made in C2012 were necessary.

What "lots of talk" are you referencing? I haven't heard of any of the above. As for mandatory captain upgrade, how would that be implemented? Would F/Os based in SEA or LAX have to commute to NYC all in the name of "mandatory" upgrade? I don't see the company wanting this at all.
Gutting of sick leave, now I don't doubt that at all...
