Unfortunately no. The company wont even meet with the nc at the moment. Nothing the union can do to fix that. The nmb will never authorize a strike, which is why the company wont play ball. As far as closing down, thats a dream world. There will always be pilots looking for work, at least in the short term. Management is parking almost 70 planes in 2 years to maintain staffing. They dont see a new contract as a solution. Until they do, nothing will change.
