I'm the same as you when it comes to justice - right winged as well. Last year had to do jury duty and thought "they won't select me!" Nope, the DA liked conservative people like me. Fortunately the trial was only one day, but a long one at that. One sure way to not get selected is act stung out like one person in our group. She was elderly and feebelish and kept chanting "that poor boy needs his mama. It's not his fault!" She was saying this about the 22 year old on trial. It was kind of comical hearing her keep saying this, but we were not about to laugh being in court. Needless to say, she did not get picked.

She probably walked out laughing saying "haha works every time! Got out of it again!"

Definitely a sure way to prevent getting picked, but as someone on here stated serving on a jury is a very high calling and I didn't take it lightly. The decision we made affected both parties. It's just sad that people who are self employed do lose out so much. In the airline industry, most of us are pay protected and that I was very thankful for that day.
