Never forget, Management's JOB is to always get the most, for the least.

They want us to do the most flying, for the least pay/benefits, i.e. become "More Efficient".

But DALPA's JOB is to PROTECT our JOBS, and make sure we are getting paid the MOST, for the least amount of 'work'.

The bankruptcy and now profit sharing, stock price, etc. seems to have changed DALPA's (and many pilot's) mind set. They now seem to want to do Management's job for them, and make us "More Efficient" vs. protecting (and restoring) OUR PAY AND BENEFITS!

From the top of ALPA National on down to our MEC level, they seem to have forgotten that they are 'blue collar' worker bees, not Management Wonks, and they seem to have forgotten WHO they are supposed to be representing.

The line pilots see this too, and that's why so few have bothered to spend the time to fill out the surveys.

The attitude on the line is, "Look how much good it did last time..."
