I've been told that CHQ didn't want the CRJ's. Still doesn't. That they had to get them for a few reasons. One being there were no ERJ's available and #2 that Continental requested them because they found people favor 2x2 seating.
They were banking on XJT giving up those 69 planes, weren't they???
Last time I checked, Embraer is still making new E145s...they might not have found 145s at a price they wanted but thats not to say there weren't any available...
