Its bad enough we had to subsidize guppy pay by downbanding 757 and subsidize 767-400 and 787 by downbanding 747 and 777.
The lUAL side lost that side of the negotiations, but the lUAL pilots voted for the contract for different reasons. Time to move on.
If the tables were turned, the lCAL guys would have been torqued off.
It is over and done with.
FWIW I am glad Sparky gets the upper pay band. We should end up with a very large fleet of them eventually so I am happy that aircraft gets paid more than it otherwise should. We should all benefit from that decision one day.
