Chautauqua set themselves up for failure by trying to add a completely new fleet type on the cheap without type-experienced mechanics (hence the multiple IDG failures due to lack of oil I've been told about by friends there), skimping on crew training and recruitment, outstation basing, and general biting off way more than they could realistically chew at Purdue Road in the last 12-18 months.
Folks at XJT (Saab, for example) seem to be wanting CHQ to fail and get the boot from CAL...and while I kinda understand the sentiment, the pilots didn't make that deal, RAH and CAL management did. Direct your vitriol elsewhere...
I really dont want CHQ to fail per se, I just want Larry to realize that he didnt make the smartest decision..............dont worry just wait until COLGAN comes into EWR with a new fleet type..............that my friends will be a disaster
