1) Do NOT wait to schedule deviation...as soon as pairing is assigned (ie. on your schedule). Go to flying together and book PS5D business travel. Go to United.com and assign seats. Then call...scheduling for deviation approval at beginning of pairing and pilot service center if DH at end of pairing.
-Do this early to insure seat availability!!

Once FAKE is on schedule...call PSS for travel authorization.

2)no affect on pay. You are protected for original DH scheduled block time.

3)no impact on hotel...you must tell scheduling if you want to keep hotel room.
-you will loose hotel travel voucher for day of FAKE...you retain travel voucher for day of departure (getting to airport)
