Training is at MAX capacity. Sim are running almost 24/7 with crews (less MX and contract no training times). I do not think its flow through obligations. As I was told, NEW classes are on hold till they can get caught up. There are a lot of people done with Indoc waiting to start aircraft training. That's $$$$ the company does not want to burn by continuing to clog up the pipeline at the start of the pipe. Only so many can get through, with recurrent, requals, instructor recurrent (and some new instructors being trained as well), upgrades, current pilots swapping equipment, and then the new hirers. Want to why the calls for interviews and hiring are not going out as fast.....here's why.
IF GET A CLASS ON LUS SIDE GO!!!!! No reason to fret about it, it's the same company now. Just getting the details worked out. The longer you hold out, the farther down a list of 13000+ pilots you will go.
Delta and United are backing up too. Welcome to the new normal....except it's going to get worse.
