Has anyone else run into this? I feel that checking no to suspension is wrong because it would be lying, but also it's got to look bad because it shows under criminal. Any insight would help. Thanks!
My license was suspended when I was 17. It was supended because I had 2 wreckless driving in less than 12 months. I checked the "criminal" box where it asked if my license was "ever suspended". I did not included on my infractions list. I did include my speeding and wreckless tickets on the infractions.
I asked that same questions you just asked during my panel interview. They told me I filled out correctly. If you already checked "ever suspended" you do not need to include in your infractions, but if was suspended you MUST checked the box and not simply list on your infractions list.
I was grilled on my driving record. 4speeding, 2 wreckless, 2 other tickets and a suspended license.
What I had going for me is that all those tickets were when I was between 16-18 years of age. I havent had a single ticket in 15 years. (I had a bullet bike in high school ).
By checking the "criminal" box you will not be disqualified. Just be honest in your app. Let them decide who they are going to call or not. You dont want to get the invite and then change your story. It will be too late and they will not trust you. Honesty is a big deal, specially at Delta.
Good luck. Keep your head up and be honest.
