Hmmm... just based upon the title, I would guess it means that the company puts you in a hotel at or near the airport for quick call. Gives the company immediate access to a reserve without having to deal with the duty time restrictions of an airport reserve, only cost to them is the hotel room.

I can see commuters jumping on that if it means the company pays for a hotel so they don't have to get a crashpad.
