Based on all of your posts you seem like a real gem to fly with.
I'm a 40k number FO and I can tell you that the type of captain I fly with has a lot to do with my own attitude, whether I consciously want it to be that way or not.. It's really hard to stay positive when I fly with some jerk of a captain who micro manages and complains about everything I do. That in turn ends up causing the captain to get even more mad since it puts me in a bad mood and gives them more to complain about. When I fly with a captain who actually offers constructive criticism and is a generally nice person I usually do the same in return and get plenty of compliments. I'd say 95% of the captains I fly with are the latter.
If you're the kind of captain who thinks all of your FOs are stuck up horrible people then the problem probably lies with you and not them. If you're a jerk to them they will be a jerk back to you.
