I was grateful for them taking the time to talk to me.

To make a long story short, they told me that the the ERJ side has been very difficult to work with and down right unprofessional and nasty at times during negotiations. Way more then just differences of opinion. Now, of course they wouldn't implement themselves in any such behavior, but that's what they told me. ERJ MEC wants the system they are looking at because it saves the company millions of dollars so that they can keep the so called "out liers". This will have a very costly impact on the ASA pilots QOL because of that PBS they want as been discussed over and over again here. They told me that since the ERJ side does not have the benefits we have with our PBS system and they have never used anything but line bidding before, they don't care about what we have and what they don't. Basically, they won't miss it because they never had it. So they want to sacrifice ASA pilots QOL (and ERJ pilots too if you ask me), so they can keep some other things that won't be worth it if your PBS system blows and your life is miserable because your schedule sucks. So that's why we are on this again. They can't figure this out, and we are suffering because of it. And you should care about it, I do. My job and quality of life depend on it. IF you don't care and you are an ERJ pilot, you should tell your reps that so we can go with our PBS, move on, and get this **** over with
Orrrrrrrrrr, get your reps to look at our system and "get this **** over with." We can't all be company pushovers.
