I completely understand what seniority means and that you should never pass up a class date.

However, I have a incredibly packed schedule for the rest of the year (vacation that I've paid for months ago, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.) and I don't know if I'd be able to make that class if I were offered it. Does anyone know what sort of new hire class outlook there is for next year besides what the potential number of new hires may be?

I am by no means taking this for granted, but if offered this opportunity, I don't know if I could take it before the new year.

Any information or advice?
Just my thoughts but first off I would take the interview. Pass that up and you may not get another chance, just ask Outdoors. Second, if offered the job then you can express your desire to attend the first 2015 class. They may say no, but might also say yes. I just personally feel there is way more risk in mucking things up pre-interview. It is too easy to move on to the next resume. Once you get an offer they are invested in you a bit more. If they say no, then you can take the November class and either make it work or politely decline.

PS. I think it is pretty safe to assume classes will continue beyond Nov. - but obviously it is always subject to change.
