We can not have any JCBA which includes either side getting something different from the other side. That will do nothing but continue to cultivate an "us vs. them" mentality on both sides, ultimately destroying any bargaining capability we collectively might have in the future. Like it or not, a JCBA is better for most of the 4200ish pilots that currently make up ExpressJet.
I don't see PBS as a sticking point, we just get a JCBA that has SmartPref PBS if you fly an ERJ and Flightline for the CRJ?
However, how do you solve ERJ guys getting a pay cut like in the JCBA that was voted down while the CRJ guys getting a raise? That sort of thing just wont cut it.
(and if you lose up to 6% [DC Plan] of your pay that goes in to your retirement like ERJ guys were going to lose that is most certainly a PAY cut even if you want to call it a benefit cut.)
