Funny I went back and looked at my gouge and came up with 1802.5 as well. So has anyone recently had this question because it appears that the choices for a correct answer do not exist. I was thinking of a right triangle in relation to the degree of change so it through me off.
I had that question on my test 2 months ago. All you need to know is that at 30dme, for every mile you will cross 2 radials. (60:1 rule). Check your Mach, convert to nm/min. The answers available are different than the gouge. The question and the answers are very clearly defined on the real test. No sweat.
**A couple of the questions on my test included HW and TW. So when calculating you speed, make sure you take that in consideration**
