The issue isn't the type of experience. It's the cost of training someone who knows this isn't domestic style, 3 on 4 off flying. They see no value in dumping $100 grand into training someone who has no real long term intent of staying. As to growth...they'll manage it and opt for people who understand the type of flying and like it.
There were guys in recent new hire classes who actually told Denise B in the interview they had apps in with United, Delta, and American. They still were hired at Atlas… They don't care, man. 100k for training?!?!? yeah, and I bet they pay $3000 for a toilet seat, $10,000 for a hammer too.
