Aspen. KASE. Special crews are required to go in there and they have different work rules than normal line holders.
On reserve Crew Support treats you like you're not human. Five 16 hour work days in a row? No problem. Call at 4am to come to the airport and sit there for 8 hours doing nothing? You'll do a lot of that too. Sometimes they deadhead you to some random city to do a local (day trip) and when you get off your deadhead you find out that you're actually going to be doing a 5 day trip now and won't be home for the next week.
Basically since we don't have a contract you're just their *****. They can do whatever they want with you on reserve and you can't fight it. Unfortunately they don't have much of a conscience and they really do do whatever they want with you.
