Unfortunately not. A category freeze (1 year for new-hires and normally 2 years for each bid after that) begins on the day of the award (or the new-hire's hire date). A pilot will not be awarded an AE if the
earliest possible conversion date (i.e., the beginning of the conversion window) comes before the end of the freeze.
