Yeah its way over networked with crews. The extremely high rate of commuters (who commute by air to a location that is highly vulnerable to service disruptions or commute by car with some legendary drive times for many of the "locals") as well as the nature of the trips just don't mesh with the reality of it all. With extremely early reports and late releases being the norm far more than other bases coupled with the other challenges and high cost of everything simply canibalizes the reliability factor from having a domicile in the first place.

The crew domiciles needs to shrink significantly to operate on as high of a tier as it needs to for that critical market. But on paper the hotel savings is just too tempting for the bean counters and they always win. The "savings" always shows up on the spreadsheets but many of the costs are much harder to quantify and track, but they are there for sure.

Its way overgrown and they keep growing it merely to transfer hotel costs (on paper only) to junior pilots and FA's. A few updates ago they acknowledged that it was saturated with crews and implied they would start flowing manpower from other bases through there more, but then kept growing it.
