Here's a few random ideas, I'd like to hear others:
The crew cooler from ebags.com pays for itself in the first trip. Just keep your stuff cool with a couple quart size freezer bags of ice - fill 'em at the hotel, in the galley.
Also, try blending up some frozen fruit as a smoothie (bananas, strawberries, raspberries, orange juice, etc.), freeze it the night before in ziplock bags. Pack 'em the day of the trip to help keep your food cold.
A pack of lunch meat, cheese, a few hard boiled eggs, protien and granola bars.
Make your own trail mix - buy pecans, cashews, some chocolate chips. A quart size bag will last a few trips.
Carrots, celery broccoli and some ranch dip.
Tuna kits and soup work great too.
Quaker instant oats for breakfast.
Don't forget that some hotels offer apples, bananas, oranges etc., so you can plan on getting some of that stuff on the road.
Make your own pasta salad the night before and put it into sandwich bags - pasta, shredded cheese, olives, peperonchini, italian salad dressing, chopped ham or salami - good eats on the road!
