The LCA thing. You don't necessarily need the employee numbers. Like some one said, there is a PBS command of "award trip if line check airman". The catch on that one is this: You've got to be a little careful about what you'll take. A good many of the LCAs on the 717 are junior, and some get pretty crappy trips. If you get paired with him on one of those, watch out, because he's likely trying to drop/swap it. If he's successful, guess what. You're doing it unless you can also dump it. I bit with them but have a personal cut-off as to trip quality that I'm not willing to roll the dice with. Luckily for me, I'm high enough that 90% of mine are LCA and they are practically always taken. I'd say we've got another year or so to ride this train until it it's back to normal.

Also.....easyswap.....works good. lasts long time.
That's the thing. I'll bet that many LCA's don't fly their original trips. It is easy to get stuck with a trip that you may not want to fly... but it is super sweet to stay home while getting paid.
