This is the first carrier I have seen in a long time starting out with recip equipment. Who knows, it just might work. It has in the past. Comair started that way

This is a company started in 2011 by the founder of Gulfstream Airlines. I believe at one point the goal was Sunair Academy similar to the former Gulfstream Academy. At one point they had a website ( sunairacademy.com) but It never took off and became an EAS carrier similar to Cape Air operating Navajos out of Texas and Penn. I believe it was subsequently sold a few months ago. I have heard that one of the new owners is none other than the Former CEO of Gulfstream Airlines Dave Hackett (whom unless I'm misinformed) was at the helm of GIA when they filed Bankruptcy in 2011, and the company emerged under new ownership and branded Silver Airways under VPAA group. The new COO is a name synonymous with GIA as well. He was the former DO for Gulfstream, and also Silver Airways to my knowledge.
