Um, wait... what?!? I'd take exception to that, but I'm frankly too curious to get angry. How on earth did you get a sense of entitlement out of a new guy asking questions in an attempt better to understand his new-to-him work rules/work environment/contract??

Consolidation went off without a hitch; probation is <*knock wood*> likewise going smoothly, thankyouverymuch. I do "do my job first," I do it very well, and I resent any implication to the contrary (particularly from someone not in a position to hold any opinion of my performance). You've evidently been at this for quite a while if you cannot recall what it's like to be a new hire struggling to understand an entirely new world. If you don't recall a time when figuring out scheduling, PBS, PWA, etc. issues was far more challenging than learning to fly a new airplane, good for you--but I ain't there yet, not by a long shot.

Not sure how it's relevant, beyond confirming what I've already said about being new, but since you ask: on property about 4 months. Extremely happy to be here. Learning as fast as I can everything there is to being successful, with no intention of stopping until I've uncovered everything relevant to my career, my QoL, and my income (more or less in that order of priority).
