Can someone who works at Piedmont or who knows if there is any truth about a flow through at American?
1. Do you get a number? - You get a number when you start training at AA. You do not accrue AA seniority until you actually begin working there.
2. Is there a time limit? - The agreement is in place for 10 years.
3. Is this provided in writing? - Yes.
4. When will it or has it been signed? - The first 3 flows are leaving the first week of November to start at AA. The next 3 are in the first week of December.
5. % of new American pilots who will be from Piedmont? - 3 per month that AA hires pilots. Unlike PSA, Piedmont has a full flow-through. There is NO interview, NO medical test (other than FAA medical certificate.) When it is your turn, you get a class date at AA and show up for day 1 of training, no questions asked. If you fail initial training at AA, you return to your spot on the PDT seniority list.
6. Is Piedmont getting jets and how many? - This has not been announced yet. PDT is working with a consulting company to "bring regional jets to the Piedmont certificate." What type/how many we may or may not be getting has not been announced. All communications from the company so far indicate that we are getting something, but beyond that there are no details. Take that with a grain of salt.
7. How soon will they be online? - See above.
8. Any other pertinent information?
9. What happened to the Envoy/Eagle people who had a flow through number? - I don't know anything about Eagle and their flow, but I do know that they have a flow as well.
