Currently on the US side our schedule bidding award happens about 6 weeks out (ie, we already know our December schedule). My understanding is that on the AA side, you won't know your December schedule until mid November.

The US way is great because it allows my wife (who works part time only when I'm home) to be able to bid her schedule around mine.

Any idea how it will be in the future? and when? I assume, it will be like the AA side, though I hope it will be the US way. Is this a function of our contract? Or simply company policy?
