I dont subscribe to any of these services, but your post got me curious. Be honest.

Let me guess - you are one of the "counselors?" Just curious. Not an emotional post, just find it funny that whenever the airlines start hiring, "prep companies" start popping up like pimples on a 17-year-old's face, hoping to make a quick buck. Simply being hired at an airline doesn't make one an expert on getting hired there. I really tried to find "Scott"'s profile or qualifications on his website, and couldn't. Kit Darby did the same thing (and made big bucks), a jumpseater told me another company in Seattle (I think they're Alaska pilots) did it as well, and I just have to wonder.

As far as my "motif" (I assume you mean motivation)...What is it about a job fair that would possibly cost $119? Based on your response, I have to wonder what it is you are defending and why? I don't have a horse in this race, but I have seen the cycles over and over - the job fair thing is one that sticks in my craw as being one thing that has completely exploited wishful job-seekers by bending them over price-wise. No real emotion, just shaking my head as to what makes some of these people "experts", and the ruse is that they are "doing us all a favor" by holding expensive job fairs while raking in the bucks. That's all - no big deal, just wondering what motivates these people other than money. I'm not looking for a job - got one, thank you.
