If this is the way the guy acts in an interview, what's the chance he'll be hired away by a legacy anytime soon?
Historically, part of what makes the pilot group vulnerable to the tactics of management is that there's a certain percentage of the seniority list who are stuck at Frontier for one reason or another. They've tried to go to a legacy and they were repeatedly rejected or they don't bother trying because they've got skeletons.
Up until the most recent expansion, folks could rationalize coming to or staying with Frontier because they live in the Denver area and would rather not commute.
I think we're running out of legitimate reasons why anyone would come here in the first place let alone plan on staying until retirement. Management wants the best of both worlds. They want to staff the airline with sub-par terms of employment, yet avoid attrition by finding people who won't be able to leave or [for whatever reason] won't want to leave.
