I personally know multiple people hired recently at legacies with no TPIC. If Frontier thinks targeting those type of applicants will stem attrition, I think management will be disappointed. If anything, adding an A320 type rating with time in type will only make them more competitive. Targeting applicants who already live in a base would probably be marginally more effective.
