And:

"Its like this, NO ONE here knows when/if hiring will continue. No one that can or will post anything to an internet forum.

Another thing about UPS, every peak that I have been through, there ALWAYS seems to be some upbeat rumors about hiring, aircraft acquisitions or even during the dark days ..., furlough recalls ... for whatever reason it has been part of the operation like a routine event.

I know its not very insightful, or what you wanted to hear ... its just the reality of the current environment."

So, you guys are saying that in effort to provide a false sense of hope and optimism for UPS line pilots to get through another peak / vote for less than ideal contract items, UPS HR/management is jerking around a large group of people who, as of yet, have nothing to do with UPS? Mgmt would do this knowing that each interviewee has probably spent hundreds, if not thousands of dollars to prepare themselves, travel to/from the interview, taking time off work, etc., while at the same time diverting their own resources just to produce an illusion which has a potential to backfire? I may be just an overly optimistic poolie, but wouldn't the more simple explanation suggest they are, in fact, preparing to hire? FWIW, I was told (durning interview) to expect, "possible classes starting early 2015."
