Mesaba doesn't exist anymore. But it's not just kcm. It's also ASAP, cass, weather radar, TCAS, and many more things. And that's just the safety side of things.

You should know better. The money losing CPA was in fact negotiated by Skywest. That's why xjt was losing money after stopping the branded operation. Skywest also renegotiated the current CPA as part of their purchase. It's Skywest's fault that xjt is losing money.

You work for an employer that is circling the drain, so, enjoy your awesome vacation rules and 401K contributions... But I'm going to guess that my paychecks keep clearing long after your airline ceases to exist. Maybe you can expend some of your great enthusiasm for your union into helping them find a realistic joint contract and a reason to keep you guys flying.
I never said you owe everything. Again, xjt lost money because of Skywest management, not because of the pilots. Skywest has been very profitable in the years before buying xjt so what's the excuse for lack of proper pay raises then? The fact is that you guys don't have as much leverage as you could have and why all of your benefits sorely lag, especially considering the profitability of your airline. I don't worry about my check clearing. If the doors close on this place, I have a back up plan. I won't fall for the fear tactics and vote for less pay when management is spending money running two different airlines instead of saving money to run one combined airline. Honestly, why should any pilot get paid less when there is other ways to save money? I hope you wouldn't vote for pay cuts in that situation.
