Of course everyone wants flying to go to mainline (unless you want to be a regional lifer) but if it isn't going there (RFPs) then any regional pilot hopes it comes to their company.

I think we are able to staff anything that comes our way, they are drawing down the Bro which is 34 planes worth of staffing plus we are hiring 50 a month "for the foreseeable future". From what I heard (obv taken with a lumb of salt) is that we have interviewed about 850 ppl this year and hired almost half of those with about 1300 apps on file. That being said Delta is increasing their class sizes to over a 100 starting in the new year and projecting to hire almost 1000 (160 odd will be flow from Compass) and the other mainlines are projecting similar figures, so if mainline hires 3000 total next year and the LCCs another 500 or so then you'd think Skywest would lose about 400 ppl to attrition...I think the Bro drawdown will provide sufficient staffing for a while along with any 200s we lose.

Supposedly we submitted the paperwork to fly to Juneau Alaska.
